The Author's Journey

Where Every Story Has a Beginning…

Hello, and welcome to Ball & Quill.

I'm Nick Ball, and if you have arrived here expecting an author who has spent his entire life sitting quietly at a desk, surrounded by books and drinking cups of tea while waiting for inspiration to strike, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed!

For more than sixty years, life has taken me through its fair share of twists, turns, unexpected detours, challenges, adventures, laughter and, occasionally, moments when I've wondered who actually designed the road map!

The Books of Ball & Quill

Two Books. Two Very Different Journeys.

One is the story of a life lived. The other is a mystery born from imagination. Together, they represent the two sides of Ball & Quill — real experiences and fictional adventures.

The Journey Isn't Over…

Two books may be on the shelf, but there are still stories waiting to be told.

New ideas are developing. New characters are appearing. New mysteries are taking shape And who knows where the next journey will take us?

I am committed to my work. My first two Books are just the start. I look to the Future writing more mystery drama.

Please keep checking back for updates.
